Since March 2004 the MBI experiments with combined laser and synchrotron radiation are relocated to the U125/1-PGM beamline at BESSY . This included the modification of the photoemission end station, and the re-design of the refocusing chamber of the beamline. The new setup allows for accessing photon energies from 15 eV up to 600 eV and provides a synchrotron radiation micro focus (< 30 µm) needed for efficient probing of laser-excited states.
